Imaginista™ is the newest line from The Orb Factory. This totally trendy tween line encourages open and creative play while teaching new skills. Each Imaginsita™ kit tackles a new and unique crafting concept – from decoupage to friendship bracelets. Tweens refer to the instruction and inspiration booklet as work through the contents of the kit. This allows them to practice and perfect their skills, working at their own pace. Once the kit is completed, tweens will have learned a brand new skill that can be applied to future projects.
Since my mom knows how much I absolutely love Duct Tape, she thought their Tape Style kit was the perfect kit for me. In this kit, you get 60 feet of duct tape to work with to make different types of jewelry for you and friends. Also in this kit, you will get jewels, elastic cord, and an instruction booklet to get started. In the booklet, there are instructions to create a necklace, bracelets, and bows. Not only can you create these things, you can use your imagination to create even more!
When I first opened the kit, I saw the four different types of duct tape I got really happy because of my love for duct tape. The first thing my little brother wanted me to do was to make him a “bow-tie.” To make it, I used the instructions to make a bow and put it on a string of elastic cord so it would fit around his neck. After I did that, I used the same instructions to make the bow bracelet for myself with the zebra and cheetah print duct tapes. I can honestly say that when I run out of the duct tape in this kit, I will buy new duct tape to make even more creations that either I get from the booklet or whatever I think of!
