These books are something that every person should be required to buy. We aren’t looking at prepping as a zombie apocalypse and need to get our stuff ready for that. But living in the United States, every area has their problems, such as earthquakes, tornados and such. And you NEVER know when your world can come crashing down and will need to prep for anything. I have a family of 7, and I often worry that if a tornado hits, we won’t be ready for a few hours of no electricity let alone a few days or even more, God forbid it. This year I made a resolution that I will start to prepare for any disaster small or large.

The Preppers Canning Guide: Food preparation has always been an important staple for any prepper. Like I read it usually is more like rice, bean, wheat. But in this book it teaches to store and can proteins, fruits and vegetables. Canning is a great way to preserve food, cooks quick and is great in an emergency. The book goes step by step on how to can foods.

* A Prepper’s Guide to Canning * Food and Food Safety * Canning 101 * Traditional Canning Tips and Recipes *Jazz Things Up with Jams * Getting Condimental * Fruit Frenzy * Venerable Vegetables *The Meat of the Matter *Beans Beans, Beans *In a Pickle and even more!

The Prepper’s Complete Book of Disaster Readiness: This book teaches you about the different levels of emergencies and how to be 100% prepared for them. What you should buy, stock, store and are absolutely dire needed. Some are the chapters are: *Why Should We Prepare * The Survival Mind-Set * Survival Kits * Bugging Out vs. Sheltering in Place * Pantry Organization and Storage * Foraging * Health and Wellness * Miscellaneous  Emergency Gear and several more!

The Prepper’s Water Survival Guide: Of all the resources needed when disaster hits; heat, food, water, electricity, communication and transportation- water is the most crucial. This book will teach out the ins and outs of how to get clean drinking water to survive.  Some of the chapters covered *Even Non-Preppers Need Water * Dehydration Can Be Deadly * Toxins in Municipal Water Supplies * Water Related Illnesses * A Glimpse at Everyday Life without Running Water and many more super important chapters!

The Dehydrators Handbook: This book is crucial at survival. All you need is this “cookbook” and a dehydrator to turn your garden fresh fruits and vegetables in to a shelf stable stockpile. They are delicious, healthy, and cheap. The ideas are endless on what to make! Soups, jar meals, treats, snacks and even herbs and spices. I have a dehydrator and we love it so much! I can take 2 big containers of strawberries from walmart, dehydrate them for 12 hours and they will only fill up about 1/4 of a canning jar depending on how they are sliced.

About (taken from website): As pop culture changes at the speed of the Internet, books have a powerful role to play in the interconnected world. But no new media has ever eliminated an existing media form. They force change, and with change comes opportunity. That is why our printed books work hand in hand with e-book and online versions of their content.
