Her 3 Little Thinkers

Skylanders Superchargers Review

About (taken from website): Pilot an unstoppable fleet of incredible vehicles over land, under sea and through sky to stop Kaos and save Skylands! Includes new online multiplayer race and co-op modes.

Starter Pack

Do your kids want to save a whole planet while driving in land, sea, and sky vehicles? They’ll absolutely love Skylanders Superchargers! This is a game with different character figures and vehicles to place on the new Portal of Power. The starter pack we got came with two supercharger Skylanders, a land vehicle, the portal, a poster, and the game. In this game, you go against the evil villain who is destroying Skyland and defeat him on a SuperCharged adventure to save Skylands!

When my sons played this game for the first time, they made it through ten chapters in about an hour. My daughter had started playing and she got through five chapters before she needed to leave. While they were playing, the four-year old kept running from the bedroom into the living room telling me everything that was happening. He was so excited once he passed each chapter and he knows which figurine is his and which is his brother’s. When his sister started playing and all but one of the remotes had died, he kept asking when it was his turn and if he could play. The fifteen year old loves the game and knows he wants more of the characters and vehicles.

There are 40+ Skylanders and vehicles to collect and play with. My three year old will want to play with the toys and later will want to play the game with his brother or by himself. I know that for Christmases and birthdays, at the top of their wishlists, will be the Skylanders figurines and vehicles. Not only will it be this game, there is another Skylanders game they will most likely ask for; Skylanders Battlecast. This is a mobile game with character cards. My three oldest kids absolutely love this game and I know I’m going to be playing it with them. Skylanders is one of our new favorite video games!
