photo 4 (13)My happy little boy. I love the sturdy case the kit comes in. It is sure to last for years, and be ready for Raine when he gets old enough to work the puzzle all by himself.

photo 1 (15) The Dinosaurs Fact Book is too advanced right now for my 3 year old, but I read it aloud anyway while he played with the puzzle pieces and learned quite a bit about this mysterious creatures.

For instance, did you know that out of all the dinosaur fossils found in the world, only about 3 percent are from meat-eating dinosaurs? Also, birds are related to the lizard-hipped dinosaurs, not the bird-hipped dinosaurs as you’d expect!

The kit comes with a rad dinosaur poster that I will be hanging up in his playroom.

photo 3 (15)photo 4 (14)This was our first attempt at a puzzle together, and I must say that I had fun. Spending quality time with my son (with no “device” in front of us) is awesome, and I had forgotten just how much I love putting puzzles together!

My sweet boy helped me clean up the puzzle pieces ..

Then dumped them all on top of me 😉 Silly boy.photo 5 (11)

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer  Special Edition Pop-Up Book $19.95

Author: Lisa Ann Marsoli ; Illustrator: Keith Andrew Finch

Who doesn’t just love that adorable misfit reindeer, Rudolph?!

Ever since my son’s first Christmas I have nicknamed him Reindeer. It may have come from a very cute batch of reindeer shaped sugar cookies I baked with my wee baby on my hip.  😉
