About : The Ripley exhibit collection represents over 95 years of collecting by Robert Ripley and his corporate heirs. The foundation of the over 25,000 piece collection was gathered and assembled by Ripley himself on his many travels around the world, but our staff today continues to add new pieces to the collection almost daily. A bit surprised perhaps? It’s ok, most people are just as surprised as you when they find out that Ripley’s operates a huge amount of different family attractions all over the world. The infographic in this page should explain everything. You are also going to want to know more about our “ODDITORIUMS”.
Review: In the book Ripley’s Believe it or Not Book; this book, there are unbelievable oddities that everyone will be surprised about. There are 11 different sections of each book so if you can’t stomach something or just don’t want to look at something, you can skip that section and move onto another one. My family loves reading the Ripley’s books because of the different things we look at and want to try to do. We also love reading about the different people around us and the weird things we never even thought about.
Each of the people in my family have their favorite section or weird oddity in the book. My personal favorite is the Living Dolls because I watched a documentary on them about a year ago and they were really fascinating and seeing them in the Ripley’s Believe it or Not book was really cool and I wasn’t expecting it. My youngest son’s favorite oddity is the tutu man who wears just a pink tutu in over 200 self portraits. My daughter’s favorite is the Flat Face which is a cat who is a mix between an American short hair and a Persian cat. It is really cute because it looks like a little cat toy. I know all of your family will have their favorite because there are so many different things in this book, you will never get bored.
