Rio De Keratin Kit:

I have such a love hate relationship with my hair, it’s extremely thick, coarse and can be hard to manage. When I let it air dry it is frizzy and all over the place even when I blow dry it the turn out is the same. My hair has been dyed more times then I can count, I use a hair straightener regularly so overall my hair is in rough shape. It’s never been the best but within time I have noticed my hair getting worse. Recently while getting my hair cut my hair stylist asked if I wanted to do a keratin treatment, the cost was $99 it was a special. After she explained it to me I politely declined because like a Mom/Wife I thought of things I could use that money one rather then my hair. The thought of a keratin treatment stuck in my head for the rest of the day so after my kids went to bed I hopped on the computer and began doing research about it. While looking and reading I came across Rio De Keratin, I went to their website and was impressed by what I saw and was eager to try them. If you have ever wanted to do a Keratin treatment but don’t want to spend $100 then you are not going to want miss this review or this company. I’m always looking for great companies that offer products that I can do at home and Rio De Keratin has my list of favorite at home hair products.

In the Rio De Keratin kit you will receive a shampoo, conditioner, treatment spray and gloves. I was worried that doing this treatment to my hair would take a crazy amount of time but in all it only took about a hour. I would like to mention that I have really short hair so times may vary for everyone. The day that I did the treatment I had planned on dying my hair (at home of course) but I wasn’t sure if I could use the kit later on. I found out that I was able to dye my hair and then do the treatment right after so I was pretty excited. A couple of hours after dying my hair I began the treatment, I would have done it right after dying but I had some things to do. First I washed my hair with the shampoo after rinsing it off my hair felt awful so I was scared that I was damaging my hair more but I continued. I blow dried my hair and it began to get softer so my anxiety was at ease, I used the treatment spray and cover every inch of my hair and used a small tooth comb to make sure it was from the roots to the tips. My suggestion when using the spray to be in a well ventilated room, have a fan going or open some windows. The spray smells great but it can be to much to breathe in, I just opened the window in our bathroom and had the fan going. After applying the treatment spray all over I dried my completely using a blow dryer, you need to make sure that no part of your hair is even damp that is extremely important for it to be completely dry. Once that was done I got my hair straightener and began straightening my hair like normal. You can section your hair and it is suggested that you do for both the treatment spray and straightening it but I don’t have a lot of hair so it was easier to just do my normal routine. Upon completing the hair straightening there was nothing left to do but let it be for the next 24 hours. I stayed away from putting my hair behind my ears, clipping it back, using a head band or getting it wet because I didn’t want anything to happen to it.

The 24 hours was up and it was time to use both the shampoo and conditioner. I could notice within minutes of rinsing the conditioner out that my hair felt softer but I put my hair through it’s true test…letting it air dry. Within an hour my hair partially dried and I was surprised to all heck. Even at partially dried I have fly a ways, frizz and puffiness but my hair wasn’t doing that. I continued with my normal day to day while my hair dried, finally after what felt like forever my hair was completely dried and I couldn’t believe my eyes. My frizz, fly a ways, wildness, puffiness and dull hair was transformed into manageable. silky, shiny and healthy looking hair. I would never ever ever go out in public without straightening my hair but now straitening is an option for a necessity. This treatment with last up to 2 months and is suggest that you continue using the Rio De Keratin shampoo and conditioner so the treatment doesn’t fade. I couldn’t be happier with how my hair has turned out and I’m not the only one who is noticing. My husband, family and friends can see the difference too! If you have been wanting to try a keratin treatment I highly suggest you check out Rio De Keratin, their product is simply amazing and will transform your hair in just 24 hours!
