What is this years big thing for kids? MINIONS! I know my son’s favorite thing at the moment is the Minions so what would he love more than anything in the world for Christmas? The Minions Movie of course. When I found out I got the movie to review, I was really excited and I knew I couldn’t wait to give it to him. Our Elf On The Shelf, Charlie, sometimes brings gifts if my son is being a really good boy and I decided that a few days before Christmas would be the perfect time to give it to him. When he saw the movie in the morning, he was so excited and asked me to put it in while we were eating breakfast. No one in my family had seen the movie yet so I was excited to finally see what all of the hype was about.
Watching the movie, I was really pleased with how cute it actually was. The three main minions, Bob, Stuart, and Kevin, go on a journey to find a new boss for all of their minion friends. They go to a villain convention to look for the best villain they can find. After finding the first female villain and getting to be her henchman, she sends them on a mission to retrieve the queen of England’s crown so she can take over and be queen. Now a lot of things happen leading up to the minions obtaining the crown but I was not expecting all of the comedy and Arthurian Legends they brought in. My other kids were also watching the movie and even though they are high school and college age, they still enjoyed the movie and now it is one of our favorite movies to watch as a family. I highly recommend it to any family who loves the minions as much as ours! It is such a cute and funny movie so i rate it two thumbs up!
