As you all know, I am a blogger for Cedar Point out of Sandusky, Ohio. And recently my family was invited to for an overnight stay at the newly built Hotel Breakers. We stayed the night May 29th, 2015. As soon as we pulled in to unload the kids and the luggage, a sweet gentleman offered to help us with our bags; and I am not used to that kind of treatment.
As soon as we walked in the doors there was a cute little gift shop with Cedar Point gifts. And down the hall was the lobby which was absolutely breathtaking. There was a big television on the wall that had the Disney Channel on and little couches for kids to watch. There was a lot of comfortable seating to relax with 2 amazing horses that look like they came off an old carousel. I love that Cedar Point hires people for the summer from all over the world; and the young lady that checked us in came from Nigeria.
Before we walked around we headed straight to our room to drop our bags off.
Each room is equipped with:
- Dorm sized refridgerator
- new bedding
- LCD TV
We had 2 queen sized beds and my kids were just amazed with the roller coaster pictures on the headboards. Over in the corner was a super comfy chair that I didn’t really want to get out of. By the dresser is a desk with 2 chairs that I think are made out of recyclable materials that my kids loved because the bottom of the seat had a butt impression in it.
The bathroom was small but amazing! Super clean and the toiletries were from Bath & Body Works.
As we were walking through the hotel to go out back to the beach we seen this beautiful chandelier and we also got to see Snoopy which my son made us literally follow all over the hotel.

We did get to enjoy a little bit of hot tub time away from the kids!
At nighttime Hotel Breakers starts their own “bonfire” for guests to enjoy. Its really neat!
This photo is amazing- its the back of the hotel
This is the indoor pool still in process of getting ready and filling up.
This was our view outside our window. These lit up rides; they would change colors. Very pretty!!
Me and my children really enjoyed our visit and they had fun playing in the water, the beach and of course the arcade!! Thank you to Cedar Point for having us yet again! 🙂
