Review: I have super thick and curly. I feel like I stand in front of the mirror for 2 hours just to dry and straighten my hair. I have bought so many flat irons and sprays over the last few years and nothing is very good. I feel like I am wasting money and throwing it down the toilet. I just got a really neat one for Christmas from my husband and kids that I thought worked really well. I was introduced to Flat Iron Experts.
I was sent the Avanti Ultra flat iron and Thermal Shine spray to review. All of the straightners that I have bought in the past I made sure they were 1″ plates in ceramic. When the Avanti came, I was shocked to see Titanium plates. The Avanti has a wet to dry feature so you can cut out the blow dryer all together and save time. I have never used a straightener on wet hair, so when I used it, it started steaming and scared me. Which I learned is OK! I went ahead an blow dryed it the first time to show a before and after of the flat iron. But is a great feature to have for the chunks of hair that aren’t completely dried. The heat can be turned up or down and as hot as 450 degrees.
Thermal Shine is another product I was able to review and I fell in love! I hate that when I use my blow dryer or flat iron; the heat is going to damage my hair. I’ve tried any and every heat protectant out on the shelves. This can be used in wet or dry hair before blow drying or to help with the flat iron. It made my hair soft and didn’t leave a sticky film like so many others I have used. This is a definate must have.
