On March 26, 2016 I had the honor of holding the coolest party for my littles I have ever had ; A Disney Kids Preschool Playdate! Disney sent over pretty much everything we needed to get our party started such as, party supplies, party favors, activities, Disney inspired crafts and so much more. Even though they sent over a lot of the stuff for my party we really wanted to make this party our own! I used the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse tablecloth, napkins, cups, plates and hanging decoration that were supplied to me.
I had the most fun coming up with the food I was going to supply with my littles. I knew that my son loves Mickey Mouse so I wanted to circle my party mostly around him. I went on Amazon and purchased a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter.
1– Petes PB&J Sushi Rolls- Very simple to make! I took a Flatout Breat and lined with peanut butter and a grape jelly and just rolled. I cut into bite sized rolled. The kids really enjoyed them. They were the first snack to go! My son has actually had me make these agan for him since this party.
2– Hot Diggity Dogs- cocktail weenies and strips of croissant. Roll and bake. These also were a huge hit! They were bite size and great for little hands.
3– Mickeys CLUBhouse- I used my cookie cutter and cut out a few different types of meat and cheeses (and bread) and made the kids a sandwich (Club) bar. They got a huge kick out of making sandwiches out of Mickey Mouse heads.
4– Mickey Krispies- Rice Krispies cut into shapes of Mickey Mouse heads- Also in used with my cookie cutter.
Mickey Trail Mix
Chocolate Chex Mix (full box), Pretzels (1/2 bag), M & M’s, marshmallows
** I used mini marshmallows, but they didn’t keep well but I would substitute something with peanut butter like peanut butter chips, reeses pieces or even the marshmallows you can buy from Walmart to put in your hot cocoa) **
Along with our supplies I got a cute game that we played with the kids called Pin the Smile on Mickey (middle picture). I didn’t get any pictures because my kids showed up at different times so it wasn’t a game that I could play with all the kids at once. I was able to hand out Jake and the Neverland Pirate: Walt Disney World Resort Preschool Maps. The kids absolutely LOVED them! I even got a little creative with my silverware- I mean my “Mouseskatools”.
Each of my littles at the party either got a Princess Sophia crown or Jake pirate hat to wear. After playing out Disney inpired games, reading a book, and having fun we sat down and colored to make a puppet. For all of the goodies, and the fun stuff the kids got to do and eat 2 last surprises still remained! Disney Jr sent cinch bags for each kid to take home, and a Lion Guard Poster too 🙂
Through this whole process of planning our Disney Kids Preschool Playdate I have had the more fun planning this party than any birthday party! I hope that Disney will have us again. Thank you to Walt Disney World and a few other sponsors: I Love to Create, Banfield Pet Hospital, all, Glad, and Nesquik.
