I love having fresh fruit around the house, but being a busy family with school, sports and activities sometimes our fruit can go bad and it gets thrown out. Not to mention with my 2 little ones the mess that it can cause cutting up fresh fruit, eating it and cleaning it up. I do it, just to make sure they understand the importance of healthy eating!
One thing our family loves is freeze dried fruits! When I purchase from our local grocery store they don’t last but a few days- if that! I don’t have the luxury of shopping at a health food store, so I have to really search the Nutrition Facts to make sure there isn’t anything yucky I don’t want my kids eating. I found a new company online that sells individual packs of crispy freeze dried fruit. Which are great for lunches or even just to snack around the house or on the go. I think they are great not only because they are 100% real fruit and delicious, but they aren’t messy!

We received all 7 flavors to try to im pretty sure that my kids tried them all the first day, too! Which in my eyes is a good sign. My 1 year old wouldn’t share the apple, anything apple has always been her favorite since she was very small. I took a few bags to my father in law who is battling some health issues. His dr wants him to eat super healthy, and being someone who likes to snack this gives him both. He called me last night to tell me how much he loved these crispy fruit pouches.
