Review: Since I will be starting college in the fall, my parents want me to be ready to be on my own and keeping money so I don’t have to call home all the time for food or money. They have even told me they are scared for me to go to college without bringing a lot of money with me. Since I am the first kid they will be sending to college, they don’t know what I’m going to absolutely need or what I will need to buy when I get there.

In this book, each chapter is a different thing that I will need to know in college to keep me with money and make the most out of being away at college. My favorite thing about this book is the cartoons on a lot of the pages that will make you smile because they are funny. One of the chapters/lessons is about purchasing school supplies on an ‘as-needed basis.’ Other chapters are about food/drink, managing your money, shopping, and everything else that has to do with your pocket money in college. I have read through this book several times already, have written notes in it and highlighted sections, and I will most definitely be taking it to college with me to follow each and every lesson!
