Cleaning with Skoy Cloths Review & Giveaway

About (taken from website): Skoy Enterprises LLC is a woman owned business located in Encinitas, California.  Skoy opened its doors in 2007 with the launch of the Skoy Cloth. It was founded by the two current owners: Michelle Lundqvist and Karen Petersen. Skoy Enterprises offers a product line for the kitchen that is innovative and unique. We found our niche by introducing products which are tried and tested that replace outdated solutions in the kitchen. We currently carry the Skoy Cloth, Skoy Scrub andSkoy Rail.

One of my biggest New Years resolutions for 2015 is to be more earth friendly. I cut out buying sponges and replaced with a special washcloth, I buy more earth friendly and natural cleaning products and my next step is finding a way to cut out with how many paper towels and napkins my family uses. We used them for a little bit of everything from cleaning, to drying off our hands, wiping off the kids faces, using them at meal times (can almost be avoidable) and doing crafts and art projects. I think I buy 6 rolls every 2 weeks or even more some weeks! Unless I go cheap with inexpensive brands I can get away with big packaging bundles. But on my tight budget its ridiculous! I started doing my research online on what I can use besides dish towels to replace my paper towels with and found Skoy Cloths.

  • 100% biodegradable
  • Absorbent
  • Re-usable
  • European-made
  • Compostable
  • Multi-use
  • Unique designs and fun colors!

Skoy Cloth: The cloths come in packs of 4 and they are stiff, I was really confused as what I was going to do with them when I first got them. I had to read the card that came with them thoroughly to make sure I was using and caring for them properly. Once wet it looks more like a “cloth” and you are able to use it for your every day cleaning. The Skoy is usable with any household cleaner but it is able to be used well with just water. My tips for using them over the last few weeks: The website says they are machine/dryer safe. As I did wash them with my regular wash, they shrunk in size so I just started to wash them by hand and laid them on the counter to dry. The Skoy is FANTASTIC for dusting. I’m not sure why but I let it dry for 20 minutes and the dust stuck to them! I’ve been using the heck out of them and I love them!

SKOY SCRUB: The Skoy Scrubs are also great because they are to replace your scour pads that are throw away. They are also machine and dishwasher washable. I love that it comes with 2 in a pack. I was able to keep one in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom. They are great for every day cleaning and even the hard to get tough cleaning.

I suggest that anyone give Skoy Cloth a try to replace your towels. Here is a giveaway to win a 4 4-pack and a 2-pack of scrubs. Good Luck!
