I absolutely love wooden toys. It reminds me of antique old toys and I know that they will last a long time. Not to mention with my kids, they will have to take a beating. My daughter turned 1 earlier this year and now she is up and running she is more interested in moving toys, and more mobile things. I was really excited when Brio offered me a review for a few of their toys, I knew I could get one for each of my little ones to love!

The Brio Horse was made specifically for the 130th anniversary of Brio. This little cutie is great for any boy or girl 12+ months. Pull the horses string as the wheels turn his head bobs up and down. My daughter has so much fun running around the house as the horse “chases” her and she giggles. Even my 4 year old likes to play with it, so it will be sure to be a big hit in your house.

Countryside Horse Set is the perfect toy for my boy with a big imagination. This will for sure keep you little one busy for hours. As soon as it came in the mail and I pulled it out of the box he had daddy setting it up. It was fairly simple putting it together, just tricky getting the tracks together over the rocks just right. The set comes with the horse barn, a horse/coat, and his rider. 5 set of fencing, 4 rocks, 2 pine trees and 11 sets of tracks. The train takes 1 AA battery (not included) and also the horse trailer (with a foldout ramp for the horse to easily load) that has a magnet which pulls behind. Push the green arrown on the top top stop/start the train. Any of the trains made by Brio will ride on the wooden tracks. Have fun and let your imagination run wild!
