Her 3 Little Thinkers

AquaBall Orange Smoothie

I really struggle giving my two youngest just plain water, they like to drink drinks that have flavor. Well, I don’t like to give them juices too often because of the sugars in them and I know TOO much milk isn’t good. As much as I try to get them to drink water, I am just at a loss on what to do. Friends and family have suggested flavoring with a hint of Kool-Aid, or Lemonade or even fresh fruit. My kids are so picky it was all a no-go. They want all the juice or none of the juice. When I was approached to do a review from AquaBall and I saw all of the characters that come on the bottles, and knew that this may be all I need to get them to drink this water!

As soon as I saw the Marvel AquaBall I immediately knew that they wouldn’t last long! My 4 year old has a ‘slight obsession’ with anything Marvel. As soon as I opened the box and he laid his eyes on Hulk Smash and IronMan, he snatched on up and gulped it down with a big smile on his face! Which ultimately made mama very happy too! Since I got them, he has had at least 2 a day and tried every flavor we got and grape is by far his favorite.

My daughters went crazy for the Disney princess and Frozen characters. Since my oldest is home still from college she hijacked the princess ones to take back with her this weekend (lol). I don’t mind because I know that AquaBall is healthy and she will be getting the water that she needs and staying hydrated at school. Besides that she is worried about keeping off her freshman 15 so we were challanged to come up with a smoothie out of one of the 4 flavors we got.

  • 0 grams of sugar
  • 0 calories
  • no artificial flavors or colors
  • no high fructose corn syrup
  • enhanced with vitamins B3, B5, B6, B12 and C

Orange Cream Smoothie

Orange Cream Smoothie

** I used my Ninja personal blender to mix the ingredients and since it was my own recipe I added everything to taste, so if you are making them for more than one or two people just add more flavored water and vanilla extract **

  • Orange sherbert (fill half the blender)
  • Orange AquaBall water (1/3 bottle)
  • Vanilla extract (1 Tbs)
  • Ice (full tray)

Mix all ingredients together in your blender until ice is smooth. This will make 1-2 8 oz smoothies (top with whipped cream if desired). All of my kids were very pleased with this smoothie. It was very orang-y but the vanilla gave it the cream taste that I was looking for. So delicious.

Once you try it out leave me a comment how you like it!
